Instructions
Directions: 1. In a large bowl or stand mixer, beat the softened cream cheese until fluffy, with no clumps 2. Add the sugar and beat until combined 3. Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract and beat until medium-stiff peaks form. Set aside 4. In a separate medium bowl, mix milk and pudding mix until well combined. Let stand for 3 minutes in the fridge until thickened. 5. Fold the pudding mixture into the cheesecake mixture until evenly combined 6. Pour half of the filling mixture into the graham cracker crust, topping it with a layer of sliced bananas topped with a layer of vanilla wafers 7. Pour the remaining filling mixture over the banana/wafer layer, smoothing out the top. 8. Garnish the top with crushed vanilla wafers (to your liking) and refrigerate for 6 hours and up to overnight. 9. Serve cold with a dollop of whipped cream, topped with a banana slice and vanilla wafer if desired. NOTE: If you desire a heavier banana flavor, you can substitute either the pudding or the extract, or both with banana flavored products. |
