Ingredients
2 Heads of Romaine lettuce, washed & torn into pieces |
1 bunch(s) scallions (optional) |
4 tablespoon(s) melted butter |
2 package(s) ramen chicken flavored noodles, broken into pieces |
2 teaspoon(s) sesame seeds |
2 1/2 ounce sliced almonds |
1/4 cup(s) white wine vinegar |
3/4 cup(s) canola oil |
1/2 cup(s) sugar |
2 package(s) seasoning from the ramen noodles |
Instructions
Put lettuce and chopped scallions into salad bowl. Melt butter over medium heat, add crushed ramen noodles, stir constantly, add almonds & sesame seeds, continue stirring until nicely toasted, remove from heat, set aside. Heat vinegar, oil, sugar and seasoning packets until boiling, remove from heat & chill. Assemble just before serving. |
