Jalapeno Boats

Ingredients

1 12 oz. package of hot Italian sausage
1 8 oz. package cream cheese w chives, softened
1/2 cup(s) Romano cheese
1/2 cup(s) Shredded parmesan cheese
22 large Jalapeno pepppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
4 clove(s) Garlic, minced

 Remove skin from sausage.  In a skillet, saute sausage crumbles over medium heat until cooked.  In a small mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, garlic and romano/parm cheeses. Fold in sausage crumbles.  Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  Spoon mixture into each jalapeno half.  Place on an ungreased baking sheet, cheese side up.  Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until filling is lightly browned and bubbling.

Notes:Make sure you use latex gloves when doing this or your eyes will burn two days after you touch them!
