Ingredients
2 1/2 to 3 pound(s) chicken pieces |
2 tablespoon(s) soy sauce |
2 tablespoon(s) hoisin sauce |
2 tablespoon(s) honey |
2 tablespoon(s) dry white wine |
1 tablespoon(s) grated gingerroot |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/8 teaspoon(s) black pepper |
2 tablespoon(s) corn starch |
2 tablespoon(s) cold water |
Sesame seed, toasted |
Instructions
Combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, wine, ginger, salt, and pepper. Dip each piece of chicken into sauce;then place in a 3 1/2 quart slow cooker. Pour remaining sauce over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW about 4 or 5 hours or until chicken is tender. Turn control to HIGH. Remove chicken from slow cooker and keep warm. Dissolve cornstarch in cold water. Stir mixture into juices in slow cooker. Cover and cook on HIGH 15-20 minutes or until slightly thickened. Spoon sauce over chicken and sprinkle with sesame seeds. |
