Ingredients
1 pound(s) round sourdough bread loaf, unsliced |
1 pound(s) shredded Monterey Jack cheese |
1/2 cup(s) butter, melted |
1/2 cup(s) green onions, chopped |
1 tablespoon(s) garlic, minced (or to taste) |
Instructions
Cut bread several times lengthwise and crosswise, making a grid-like pattern, without cutting through the bottom crust.
Insert cheese between cuts.
Combine butter, onions and garlic; drizzle over bread. Wrap in foil and place on a baking sheet.
Bake at 350*F (175*C) for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes or until cheese has melted. |
