|5 large bell peppers|
|1.3 pound(s) ground beef|
|1 cup of cooked rice|
|1 teaspoon(s) salt|
|4 clove(s) minced garlic|
Cut the stem and seeds out of the pepper. Cook peppers in enough boiling water to cover them for about 3 mins; drain
Cook beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until brown. Stir in rice, salt, romano cheese and tomato sauce.
Heat oven to 350
Stuff peppers with beef mixture (you can add a little mozz cheese to meat mixture). Pour some tomato sauce in the bottom of a glass baking dish to just cover the bottom. Stand peppers upright in the dish. Pour some tomato sauce on top of each pepper and then mozz cheese.
Cover and bake 20 minutes. Uncover, add mozz cheese and bake another 10 minutes (or until cheese is melted). Sprinkle with romano and serve!
