Creamy Baked Spinach

2 tablespoon(s) butter
1/2 cup(s) chopped onions
2 tablespoon(s) flour
3/4 cup(s) half and half, divided
10 ounce package frozen spinach, thawed and drained well
1 cup(s) shredded swiss cheese
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/2 teaspoon(s) pepper
1/4 teaspoon(s) ground nutmeg

Preheat broiler.
Spray a small casserole dish with Pam.
In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, cook for 5 minutes or until tender. Add flour, cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in 1/4 c. half and half. Stir until smooth. Stir in spinach, cheese, salt, pepper nutmeg and remaining half and half. Spoon into casserole dish. Broil 5 inches from heat, for 2 minutes until hot and bubbly. Serve immediately.
